1)what is more important in a show, the classes offered or the judges name
Answer: I think they are of equal importance. The most inclusive show doesn't make a bit of difference if a large quantity of exhibitors/trainers have had prior bad experiences with a particular judge. You don't have to go with the most popular judges, but definitely don't appoint one with a questionable rep. 2)what makes you come back to the same show each year Answer: Fair judging, particularly to an AOT without a trainer on the rail. Also a show that is run professionally makes a big impression with me. 3)what makes you stay away from a certain show Answer: Bad show rates, poorly run show (i.e., not on schedule, rude office staff; bad ring footing). I will also avoid shows that hire judges well known to be less than fair in their judging practices. 4)if stalls are available to you get one,if not why Answer: If it's a multi-day show - yes - there usually isn't a choice. If it's a single day show, and it's not absolutely blazing hot or raining, I've never minded showing out of a trailer. 5)would you show just for a ribbon with no prize money offered Answer: Definitely and have done so many times in the past. I don't show for the prize money although it's always welcome. ![]() 6)would you sponsor a class, have you ever been asked to sponsor one Answer: We've sponsored many classes and continue to do so currently. 7)do you show at one day shows Answer: When I was showing on a regular basis, I showed at more one day shows than I did at multi-day shows. 8)as an overall picture are you happy with your shows that you show in Answer: I can't accurately answer this one as I haven't shown in several years.
